Spaten Oktoberfest
The world’s original Oktoberfest Beer. It is still brewed using the authentic recipe. This beer is amber in color with a malty nose. It’s perfect taste has been achieved by balancing the roasted maltines with just the right amount of hops.

Spaten Premium Lager
The flagship of the Spaten Brewery. Spaten Lager is golden in color with a malty/hoppy nose. This body is rounder and less bitter than a pilsner, with a superb balance between malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness.

Franziskaner Hefe-Weiss
From Munich’s oldest family owned brewery. Brewed the traditional way using barley malt and wheat malt hops, top fermented yeast, and water. The beer is light in body, yet full in taste. The flavor is wheaty / yeasty hint of clove and finished soft and spicy hint of clove. It finished soft and spicy.

OKTOBERFEST SHUTTLE LOOP

There will be a FREE DC Trails Shuttle transporting people from 8 locations around South Post to the Oktoberfest site. The shuttle will be available on Friday night, Saturday all day long, and for part of the day on Sunday. The shuttle will operate on a "first come, first served" basis - and all times are approximate due to traffic and unforeseen circumstances. The shuttle will leave the main Oktoberfest Area (at Fremont Field) every hour on the half hour. Thanks to DC Trails Shuttle Service and DC Trails for providing this great service.

Oktoberfest Volksmarch 10k

Saturday & Sunday, 1-2 October 2011
The trail route planned for this event takes you along sidewalks and post roads on Fort Belvoir’s North Post and past a cemetery. The course is largely flat with some hills. The slopes on the hills are not steep. The route is rated 2 due to the hills. Weather conditions should have little effect on the trail rating. Please do not bring backpacks, large bags or ice chests/coolers. All bags are subject to search. 100% ID check.

The event will take place regardless of most weather. There will be no refunds. All pets must be on a leash on the route; pets not allowed in fest area. Participants must remove their pet’s waste deposited along the trail. Smoking is prohibited. The trail can accommodate strollers and wagons; however, they may require portaging over road curbs. Trail is unsuitable for wheelchairs. Please bring extra water, sunglasses, sunscreen, and wear comfortable clothes and a hat. Dress in appropriate attire & sturdy footwear.

The Belvoir Enlisted Spouses Club (link to BESC Facebook Group) presents their Fall Bazaar and Bake Sale during Oktoberfest this year at the Graves Fitness Center section of the festival.
